Unova privilege, it’s the region Game Freak values the most after King Kanto and possibly Sinnoh. That’s why all the mons the are minmaxed, have amazing movepools, or are just completely immune to powercreep. Reminder Game Freak loves unovan Pokémon so much that they gave them an entire game to themselves and let most of them into Galar.

I don't think there's a bias but they have gotten a lot of regional forms this gen, which is great because H-Lilligant is amazing.

The best way to explain it would be compare Unova to Johto a region TPC and Game Freak seem to not like or actively hate.

For an early game mon, it actually is amazing

>respectable physical coverage from 98 attack
>even has 101 speed
It’s a direct downgrade of Infernape but Infernaoe is a starter than even then Simisear has a more options than some starters
