Those are all pity wins the writers gave him after the backlash from the Kalos league. He earned Kalos but was jewed out of it. He didn't earn anything after since Alola had no gyms, joke characters in the league, and both SuMo and JN haven't done proper 6v6s where he can prove himself

They don't want to linger on battles that last multiple episodes anymore because that fucks with the formatting and pacing, that's why we haven't gotten any full 6v6 battles yet.
I guarantee you the one and only battle of this nature for the World Coronation Series will be Ash VS Leon to act as the grand finale for Galar, due to Ash convincing him that neither side can truly show what makes them and their Pokemon amazing if they only used their respective signature Pokemon, and Leon, being a former prodigy protagonist himself, admires that quality in Ash and agrees, getting the system to bend the rules just this once.

Lost* to a Decidueye for the same reason his Charizard was disqualified in the first season league, only to have the decision overturned because the writers couldn't find a real way for him to win. As evidenced by the Decidueye's arrow pinning a cloak to the ground rather than the Rowlette's shadow

Not watching this shit so I don't know how Dynamax works in the show. Regardless of how it works from what I've heard the writers are trying to finally make him somewhat competent, and he was using a shillmon against a non-shillmon. Is it really surprising which one won that?

Ash is a 10 year old who has somehow traveled every inch of the earth, somehow encountered unique challenges not just every single day, but on average at least 3 times every single day because hes the protagonist in an anime that now extends 1115 episodes. As opposed to Tierno, Trevor, Alain, Sawyer, and a bunch of literal whos. In Kalos we only saw the semi and final match, oh and an episode on that scrub who wasn't even in the league. I seriously don't get the people who complain about the league with the most episodes, where all the competitors are actual characters, and we see almost all of the fights. Sure as a tournament it would be the worst in any shonen anime it was placed in, but by pokemon standards it is by far the best.
