They're not retiring Ash, he's getting his swansong for Gen 9 and then for Gen 10 and the franchise's 30th anniversary, they're going to reboot to a new universe featuring the brand new Kanto X years later, and due to floating timeline shenanigans, this Ash starts his journey anew at the ripe age of 10 despite the age differences all around him.

Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Eevee, Clefairy, there have a small chance.

However, even if Ash and his pilkachu get replaced, it's almost impossibile Pikachu itself gets replaced. He is the mascotte of the series. We could get a different pikachu than ash's, but the pokèmon itself will almost surely remain.
