It does but the reason why everyone still thinks Aurorus still can't have Aurora Veil is because it's an egg move. It's not like Aurora Veil being in Amaura's or Aurorus's level up movepool is going to rape Alolan Ninetales' popularity or ruin the non-existent balancing the games have.

How about just rework some abilities? Would give a decent option on some with the ability.

or just make it ignore burn and superpower's attack reduction. If contrary is fucking allowed, hypercutter should at least ignore superpower.

But why? weather ball is still special, and the only physical moves castform learns are shitty normal attacks (and thief). Rock slide for STAB doesn't really do anything for it. If sunny form is the reverse of snowy form, make sandy form the reverse of rainy form (110 SpA, 100SpD). That way it becomes super specially bulky in sand and weather ball is good.

Look at this mother fucker, he should hit like a truck. His middle stage is a gen 1 classic mon and each of his evolutions are in a different gen. I feel like the only reason this line isn't that well remembered is because it wasn't good. Even with these changes it probably wouldn't be OU, but with these states, it would be a menacing bulky attacker who could run assault very or scarf. Its meddling speed and low defense would give it counter play, but it would be a monster to have to switch into.

attack order- bug, special, 90 bp, hits physical defense with special attack (either this or bug buzz for bug stab)
defend order- bug, is protect, if you don't get hit or protect fails then both defenses rise by 1 stage
heal order- heals 25% three turns in a row. works like wacky wish on switch.

roost for more reliable recovery
power gem to hit things that hit it
burning jealousy to kill hornets
encore to farm funny defend orders

abilities remain the same

she's now playing her own game, you have to act fast or she'll hive up and hardwall you if you got no rocks. yes, failed defend order will give her priority defense boosts, that's intended. don't call it severe 4-slot syndrome, call it many possible ways to use a mon.

actually now that i think about it, defense up on failed defend order would be hilariously stupid and spammable. and also counterintuitive, you get hit but still get defense if it fails but might not get boost if protect works. make it just do a hit detection at the end of the turn and raise defenses if nobody attacked you, whether protection worked or not.

Aggron is such a cool mon. Its a crazy 3 stage big dick mon and really should be competitively viable. I get not every fat mon should get recovery in the form of moves, but its really hard to be tanky without it. Aggron has a really risky type and it wont be on the field for long, so maybe it could just have wild bulk and a high attack to just fuck shit up for the short time it has. With its typing and high def, it isn't hard to switch in. Its a mon that you could use to really force plays.

Its a 3 stage, fully evolved, multigenerational mon, as long as its bst is below 600 and around 550, I think you could invest a bit more to it. Even with all those changes, it still can't compete with mons with shitty designs, broken abilities, op typing, and min maxed stats. I think it deserves a high stat total in order to make it balanced.

With 30 speed it could use shell smash outside trick room and still be outspeeded by everything, so maybe it could have a niche as the only Mon capable of shell smashing in trick room then mix-attacking? Oricorio sucks ass so I would buff it's stats and give it a pre-evo that evolves into an Oricorio form with the nectars and the forms can't be changed after evolving thus making the forms separate allowing them to have unique movepools with actual STAB instead of one movepool consisting on ONLY Flying and Normal moves.

Shell Smash is a great change of course, but I actually think it’d be better with an offensive ability to go with it. Like Mold Breaker or Sheer Force. Especially SF because afaik no other starter has it as a HA and it would allow him to blow past Sap Sipper/Levitate/etc

So kind of a discount melmetal, but this one has recovery. Banded iron fist hits really hard, while fur coat deals well with physical attackers, even stuff like terrakion depending on set.
