While preparing my team beforehand, Heliolisk caught my attention, and so I decided to give it a try. I thought it wouldn't be very strong, basically just a shitmon, so it genuinely surprised me when it actually was strong. It even learns Surf! I also tried using it in Showdown and it could hold its own weight quite fine. It's a very fun Pokémon to battle with.
And, not only is it strong, it's very cute too. Also I like lizards.
So when I finished replaying X, I immediately realized that Heliolisk had become my favourite.
