Potion Brewing
At the end of each turn Delphox doesn't have an item, it will generate one of four potion items, depending on the current Situation.
>Health Below 33%Delphox brews a healing potion that will restore 33% of its health
>Inflicted with a status condition or debuffDelphox brews a restoration potion that will eliminate status conditions OR all debuffs (chosen randomly)
>One of Delphox's moves is out of PPDelphox brews a PP potion that restores all PP
>Delphox is facing a pokemon with a Super effective typing against itDelphox brews a damage-reduction potion, which will reduce the damage from a super effective from the pokemon it's facing (so a ground reducing potion when facing landorus, etc)
If none of those conditions apply or multiple apply, a potion is generated randomly. The RNG of getting one potion over another, and the fact Delphox can't produce a new potion until the previous is used up means it won't become overwhelming, even providing some interesting counter play. Switch in Landorus so Delphox will randomly generate a ground-reduction or status condition potion, then you're free to attack with Stone Edge or some other non-ground SE move. Then you have counter *counter* play by having Delphox learn Trick, Switcheroo, or Fling.
