they cant ruin Black/White1 because it had no endgame to start with. It was only like 15 hours for the plot and includes little other content except catching some mons in postgame routes.

the game gives you a Mega-Lati@s by the 6th badge which is fucking retarded, but ORAS has amazing improvements too, mainly Dexnav and online Secret Bases
The issue is that, if ORAS had BF... then it'd probably be, universally agreed to be the best entry in the series
and since it doesn't, people are so fucking disapointed that they consider the whole game shit for that reason. which is understandable

Gen 5 "remakes" are literally just going to be DS ROMs on a cartridge that you will pay 59.99 plus tax & tip for like pic related. One version of the ROM per cart, of course. And it will take about 7 or 8 months for Bank connectivity to be enabled. Naturally, you won't be able to transfer Pokemon back to the ROM once you've transferred them out, which also means any Gen 1 through 5 Pokemon you have right now won't be able to transfer to the "remakes."

Gen 3 introduced all the core mechanics used in every modern pokemon game. You can defend Gen 5 all day but you can skip the entire gen and pokemon would still be the same today.

I liked ORAS but there were some huge issues with the NPC teams. Just look at Archie/Maxie's teams at their last battle and you'll see what I mean

NO ONE CARES ABOUT RANDOM SHIT TRAINER BATTLES.

The only thing people care about is that the elite 4/champion and rival battles are challenging or at least memorable. Pokemon 1 on 1 singles battles will almost always be brain dead easy.

The only games in the series that does difficulty even remotely competently are fire red and leaf green and S/M series games.
