>>50815721The value of low weaknesses compared to high resists is relative based on the Pokemon's stats and its role in the game. E.g. Blissey and Chansey manage to be so successful in no small part due to only having one weakness on top of their absurd defensive stats, which makes them very hard to break without physical Fighting moves. Bulky waters in general are a similar example.
Conversely more offensive Pokemon disproportionately benefit from good resistances or immunities than they do no weaknesses, since they often can't afford to eat neutral hits. Having a lot of resisted/nullified attacks to potentially switch in on lets those Pokemon be a much more present threat. See Dragapult or Lele.
