>>51169353>>51169406This is a arguement which is contributable to the devs who are not giving overhauls to features overlooked or forgotten.
They add something new, but never improve it aside from adjustments in terms of availability or practical usage.
They added 3D animations in XY, but never improved them aside from polygons and effects on the attacks rather than the models of the pokemon.
They doubled the EV-points from the Powerpoints, but it's still an incredible shore. Removal of Supertraining isn't much of a help in that regard either.
They added Overworld Encounters for the mons instead of only walking around in tall grass, but shafted everything else regarding the majority of battles you will encounter if you aim for the full galardex.
Every list with issues like those circulating for swsh when they came out read identical because they have stayed the same.
Is it because of the lack of time given to them?
No, they know of the critism, they know of the memes, they are aware, but still chose to shaft old issues in favor of "Innovation", which gets drowned out either by the uncompleted work on the concept or bad usage of it (Mega-Evolution),
The overall identical gameplay shafting new gimmicks in favor of time or cheesing (Z-Moves), or the downright removal of content of main-interest as justification over improvements, which weren't delivered at all, within a game whose main-attractions are locked behind a progression wall (8th Generation)
TL;DR: TPCi sees only what can be new, but never what can be made overall better.
