are there any premade sync grids? not a sync grid mapping thing but like meta tier sync grids because I'm not going to read 48 cells of "+2 to SP def" just to find the 2 cells of "Makes your move buff you and debuff opponent" which are the ones I need to know. pls help I have had maxed out sync orbs since last year and just want to get some premade good sync grids filled out.

Also is it just me or are most pairs kind of dogshit? I feel like I end up using Lilly to Debuff and heal, Sygna suit Leaf to debuff and heal, and then Sycamore to tank and heal almost all the time. I am also retarded and bad at the game though so idunno bros.

I just want to add, check if the support/tank has vigilance available in their grid, or even as one of their passives. You don't want to have a "D'oh" moment when you give Dawn & Torterra vigilance not realizing she already has it as her passive. Then, for example, since SS Morty & Ho-oh has vigilance already in their grid, weigh it out whether you want to have it and free up his lucky skills for whatever (Head Start 1 and Adrenaline are some choices); or ignore it and go for the other skills, and still give him vigilance as a lucky skill. Or not even bother with vigilance at all since he's a really bulky tank, you could do that

Of course that was only a very rough outline.
Like how it doesn't account that there are some pairs who even with all the help in the world, they'll still hit like shit; so you're better off using them as debuffers with skills like Defense Crush or Mind Games.

Basically every levelup method has been exceedingly slow to gain when we first got it, then by the time we get the next method of levelup we get so many of that thing you're able to easily stockpile it.

This is more or less my standard:
-Physical Damage Reduction (+50)
-Special Damage Reduction (+50)
-Atk & Sp.Atk +1 (+50)
-Def & Sp.Def +1 (+50)
-Strength +1 (+100)
-Sync Buff +5 (+100)
-Atk & Sp.Atk +3 (+100)
-Def & Sp.Def +3 (+100)
-Max HP +2 (+100)
-Ally Healing -5 (+100)
-Power Up on Hit 1 (+100)
-Gradual Healing at Start (+150)
-Atk & Sp.Atk +5 (+150)
-Power Up on Hit 2 (+200)
-Strength +3 (+300)
-Ally Move Gauge Max -2 (+300)

God I feel a bit ass burger for typing all that. Anyways, the two parameters I omit is usually No Status Conditions (+50) and No Stat Reductions (+100), because applying those is like taking away any kind of strategy that you could possibly have aside from going full unga bunga. But IF I don’t need them, I trade those for Def & Sp.Def +1 (+50) and Def & Sp.Def +3. I avoid the Max Sync Countdown parameters, because especially with the parameters given you get fucked up as soon as they sync. So it’s almost like, you win when you can set up and reach your sync.

You can easily change things around to suit the situation. I can use Ally HP Down at Start 5 (+200) if needed to, that way I can shave off some of the 200 equivalent lower parameters. The reason why it’s not my first choice is that it nullifies Healthy Healing and Endurance skills which needs your pair to enter with full HP. I’d certainly go for Ally HP Down if I’m on-type with some broken ass MF striker. I’d think about changing Gradual Healing at Start (+150) if I’m going off-type, but I’m usually saving my broken ass MF strikers for my weak types like Poison, Rock, Bug, and Fighting.

There’s some people here who claim to use all the last four in the red, aaaand I honestly don’t know how they can do that. Strength +9 sounds like a miserable time.

Its not terrible with all the tools units have nowadays.
>quickly max out defenses
>quickly max attack debuff enemy
>some regen or just potion spamming
>using a support sync to get the 2x sync buff before the enemy gets to do their 1st sync
And now more units are getting rolled out with grid/passive defense buffs through things like weather or damage shields. I do find it near impossible if you're setting the Strength to max for every single CS fight. I wouldn't want to torture myself with that.

Oh whoops, ignore that. I would suggest EXing her as well because it is a good investment outside of this fight. And to be honest, you'll probably have to EX Wally as well if you want a chance at clearing this, and even then you'll need a good potionslut to have Wally not die with all the AoE spamming. Gotta say, you probably wont be beating this without taking a bigger hit on precious resources, its not worth the 300 clear gems.

I used dawn, wally and ss morty. Dawn with healthy healing and head start, morty with sp def buff, adrenaline and high five and wally to focus blast. All exed though but Hopefully that gives you an idea. I think it is important to have someone heal other than dawn.

Welcome to off regioning stages

you can clear extreme battles with some tanks like xerneas, burghepi, deoxys defence, ss dawn, ss morty, ingo and sygna blue because they have so much recovery and buffs that they can tank and buff so much better than you'd think

people did looker and wally EBs with triple offregion just because those supports + recent strikers that synergize just don't care about 20% stats

If i had to guess, Morty uses sun and starts buffing defenses. Dawn is taking hits from Bertha which saps her attack stat. Morty heals himself if anyone uses an AoE, he also heals the whole team slowly after every move while sun is active. That'd be enough to survive the first sync. Morty also gives himself a damage shield after first sync, so if he syncs right before Bertha, he takes half the damage from it.

Yes. She's incredibly bulky, has built-in crit immunity so her Lucky Skill can go somewhere else, and a built-in Attack sapper while buffing Defenses. She is definitely a go-to for all fights where enemies are physical hitters. Her grid is not great though and only has a one time heal, but she was a very early character in the game and still manages to be useful.

Mostly everyone in the normal 5* pool is good and usable after investing, fair units are just stupid good most of the time without investing.
The game is casual and the grinding is dumbed down with skip tickets.
Pull for your favorites, it works out most of the time.

No, they can't. In these shill battles and some CS stages the enemy sets up their own Zone/Terrain and a way to fight them is to over-ride it with you own.

Zones aren't Terrains so they don't cancel each other and can co-exist.
You can have up to 1 Terrain, 1 Zone and 1 Weather at the same time.

Zones are skills that exist only in Masters, they can ONLY be cast through the specific Wish items while Weather/Terrains are usually cast through Pokémon's attacks that exist even in the mainline series and other games.
The wish items in particular are also used in case they want to give a terrain/weather on a Pokémon that CAN'T originally learn that move.
Latias can't normally learn Psychic Terrain, so they instead gave May the Psychic Wish item to use it anyway.
Terrains have also some other added effects, like how Grass T. heals the Pokémons that use Grass moves and Electric T. stops Pokémons from falling asleep.
Psychic T. in the original games also blocked attacks with Priority like Quick Attack, but clearly this can't be applied in Masters so it's scrapped.

Huh. So this whole time I thought Terrains and Zones would cancel each other, but apparently that's not the case. It's a little weird that Psychic Wish creates a "Terrain" but the other wishes create a "Zone" but I guess they didn't want any over lap on that and future types like Electric. The most accepted reason why May got "Psychic Wish" instead of just getting Psychic Terrain is because Latias can't learn it, but there are also some small mechanical differences that they could consider when designing a pair.
Psychic Wish is unaffected by status like Sleep or Flinch unlike Psychic Terrain because it's a trainer move, on the other hand, the Psychic Terrain pokemon move itself does trigger skills like Regen unlike a Wish.

This is why they're *now* more reluctant to give both high Atk/SpAtk and Sun/Rain passives to Fire/Water types.
Like how Archie's SpAtk is on the lower side, but thanks to his rain passive and the Rain's innate boost he still hits like a truck.

While Rosa looks super cute I'm not seeing Shaymin's appeal. Kit looks neat but debuffing sp.def takes 4 bars and her sp.atk stat is really low. Is she supposed to be a DPS or debuff bot? I could imagine her being dangerous with strong multipliers on Powerloving and grid tiles but otherwise I don't know what she's trying to do.

Though, to be fair, I've always felt that N&Zekrom's damage and set up as kind of meh; probably to offset his Piercing Blow passive and because at the time they were still testing the waters with the Supereff. Next boost.
