I know it's a common misconception, and if he just used it as the inspiration for the Pokemon it would be fine, but you should really do your research before trying to make a point about real life.

Drago is explicitly a Regigigas design, and there's no reason for Eleki to not be so. They pretty clearly bend it for the sake of flowing (if only in Japanese), "Regifighting" is janky, "Regigrass" would be a REALLY wonky design, and "Regibug" is just entomological necromancy.

Current pattern does not guarantee future pattern, and between plenty of pronunciations not really working ("Regifight" and "Regipsych" are still ass names) plus the far more IMPORTANT pattern of the name referencing composition (they're construct Legendaries, for fuck's sake!).

A bug regi being made of wax feels so obvious in retrospect, but I don't think I've ever seen someone do it.
They usually just make it actual bug or made of spider webs, but wax is a substance that comes from bugs that humans use to make stuff.
