On top that, Battling non legendaries and hell even legendaries to capture them is almost pointless since Gen4 when they introduced Quick Balls. As soon as you have access to them you should be using them. Only a fool who wants to waste time widdling down some random shitmon that once it's fully evolved and you have the dex for the line is gonna sit in your box forever would not use Quick Balls.
Hell, back in the day EVERYONE had unlimited master balls, because battling random shitmons just for collection is not fun. They are not a "hard" fight to get like Legendaries, they are just a waste of time. The kid with a Game Genie/Game Shark/Action Replay was never in need of lunch money, because post gen 1 duping items was a lot harder and other kids were willing to pay a dollar for 99 master balls. Because if the option is there, people will take it because it does not waste time.
