Base on the stats and kit of Zor, it is going to be much better than scizor so I highly recommend for those low on coins (you really shouldn't be) to skip Scyther/Scizor and go Zor if you want a good melee mon.
Will have to wait on Clefable gameplay first since not able to play atm to see who is better between Sableye or Clef
Also Azu now evolves at lv 4 and Aqua tail is a must with how good it is. But sadly did not get ignore def/shields back.

This hurts if I am not jungle with blue buff since I cannot maintain infinite ice stacks thanks to shell/amp/mew & mew2 emblems/7black/6green but oh well
Mime/Glaceon/Zard/Mew will still be the meta so no big changes really except new mons dropping.

Zoroark:

I'll take the punch buff over flamethrower since Punch into Fire blast connects well.
Timi probably didn't want to give Punch burns since most will still use fire blast but it is a good start.
Now make Flare blitz actually useable.

At this rate fire punch is actually better then Flamethrower now. Because even though you don't burn, you spam it a lot more at Fire punch+ which is very easy to get with all the farms we have. The .3 sec cooldown on and new 5 sec cooldown on Zard is amazing.

Plus Zard can't really use Amp since it needs the added bulk from BB or Focus. Muscle/Scope are mandatory, any Zard not using Muscle/scope is basically throwing.
BB to give teammates a shield and added fat
Focus so you can maintain the bulk/hp and still keep Blaze maintained during your Unite for more damage.

I keep wondering why they keep giving speedster HP restoration moves. Speedsters die in one or two hits, getting a bit HP recovery isn't going to help. A speed boost would be way better.

Sounds cool. The illusion move sounds fucking useless though unless the disguise also makes you look friendly, but since it can randomly be the Mon you're trying to gank or a wild Mon it's gonna be useful maybe once every 30 matches

These buffs for Wiggly are honestly a joke and hope Timi adds more before releasing it to the official game.
Wiggly needs all the nerfs its Unite got when shield stacking was present undone since no more shield stacking or make its Unite more spammable then mr.mimes Unite.
Wiggly also needs its crits back and add something to double slap so enemies are not walking right out of it.

Sableye:

Sadly this is shit though since it won't work as well as you think, it's more like dumpstering allrounders without unstoppable dashes which already got shit on most of the time. Cinderace and frogfags are way too far away for clefable to do anything to them. Like a more reactive version of Poppy because clefable doesn't even have a dash. Which is fine for a support I guess

Shadow Sneak seems fine to me.
You can sneak, hit the enemy and pop confuse ray. If he's hit by confuse ray he won't be able to CC you, then you get away.

Basically if the enemy team has more dash like mons such as Hex gengar/ icy wind glaceon/ Night slash absol, etc. Go with Gravity to cuck them.
If the enemy has no dash like mons, go follow me to be a taunt.
Now hopefully clef gets more bulk when released but this is very workable.

How do you guys feel about Jungle in unite? I honestly can't stand how overpowering it was, it's literally the role that defines the game and which team wins or loses. Even on the old map, your jungler's skill essentially decided the outcome and who would get ahead + win dread. The new map? Like sure it doesn't have Zapdos which is great but now they've just amplified the stupidity of jungle. I'm just casually level 9 at 8:00 for doing okay and getting the Altaria. It's ridiculous, the worst part is that a BAD player locking in jungle is practically an auto loss. I almost want them to gut it and make it so your benefit as a jungler is primarily having the red+blue buff rather than being 3-4 levels ahead of everyone.

Glaceon really shows how bullshit the new jungle is, I really wish they would make it so ranged pokemon had a harder time doing the jungle. As it is, if you get 3v2'd with a useless jungle you just lose as 'towers' don't do anything in this game and losing your top first point is a huge setback. At least with something like absol we can try to burst him down when he dives, glaceon just spams shit at you from range and you can't do anything.

I'm whatever on it. It's definitely toxic when a mobile hard carry character like Glaceon gets to go in and come out the other side with an unbeatable kit, and your jungler is fucking around on the other side of the map where your team was already winning anyways.

I don't agree that it's the only way to carry games - I actually think bottom lane is a signficantly better place to carry from. Getting your stacks early, killing opponents (or enemy jungler even), roaming once you break / cripple the bottom point. The jungler has to go back to their jungle every five seconds to clear it, whereas the laner gets a bunch of sustainable free power from their stacking items and can really go anywhere they want. In top lane you're a bit more at the mercy of your jungler because you're so anchored in place, but at bottom lane even if you lose hard you can just go "lol whatever" and start running around the map.

You have to buy them. The most recent releases have been Gem only (i;e pay up with real money) for about a week, then going to coins. Coin prices for new Pokemon have been getting gradually more expensive as well, Zoroark may be somewhere from 14,000 - 16,000 coins to purchase. Its not too bad since you get a shitload of coins to start.

That's unless Zoroark is released via freebie event, but that will most likely be how Clefable is released so I wouldn't count on it.

Gengar is dishonest because it can kill an entire team in the blink of an eye by just hiding in the funny bush (which are present in 90% of the map).
I was a Gengar defender in the last map. I genuinely thought Gengar was not busted at the time, but now I just can't defend it.
The problem isn't even that Gengar is killing me, but the fact that it is able to kill my team so fucking fast. Even if my teammates are bad, they would be useful if they could stall the enemy for at least 10 seconds, but they won't even be able to stall for 2 seconds if a Gengar appears out of nowhere and hit kill every single one of them.
It doesn't help that the jungle exp+buffs are fucking broken this patch so Gengar is even stronger.
Take this situation for example: You took out 3 of the enemy during Rayquaza but you die to the fourth. Sure, the situation doesn't look hopeless. If your team can stall for a bit you can respawn and win the match, but suddenly a Gengar pops out and gets a quadra kill, and your entire team is dead, they melt Rayquaza and win the match.

Tell them to facecheck the bushes more. If you know there's a Gengar on the enemy team, you can know in 2 minutes if they're going to be a worth a shit, and if they are, then check those bushes before you get in Dream Eater range.

Facecheking the bushes means they're going to be diving into the Gengar and getting themselves killed even easier. Not to mention, there are 6 bushes near Rayquaza to check, the team would spread themselves and get killed 1v1.

The complete opposite of Charizard, where you can examine a replay and see where he outplayed you and leaves plenty of room for improvement from both sides after a match. Against any Charizard player, there are plenty of tips I would give them after any match even if they played well as there is always room for improvement. Gengar's gameplay boils down to mashing buttons from a brush and 'me hit button to delete enemy team'. To begin with, the 'counterplay' is doing nothing, encouraging passive, boring play by both sides and hoping you don't get instantly deleted later in the game after unite (which you will not be able to dodge). Gengar attracts edgy children, that think because they killed people they should win. They will never improve, if you've seen a shitty Gengar on your team, they've likely done that for countless games and will continue to do so because the pokemon is extremely forgiving kill-wise. They will never think that backcapping at the wrong time or overextending with low health is the reason they lost the game because they got some kills. Should Gengar ever see deserved removal, will probably show their true face by turning into an Absol main or something and die.
In the end, Gengar is a fundamental design flaw that dumbs the game down. We would be better off without dishonest pokemon, but it showcases this development teams' flaws perfectly.

I personally finally managed to climb 1200-1600 with only Dodrio. That fast paced gameplay was pretty enjoyable, but damn I don’t think I’ll want to deal with that wonky boosted auto ever again.

I remember in the early days of /pug/ almost everyone was asking for scizor, sceptile, and aegislash. But it feels like very few people still cared by the time aegi and sciz actually came out. Don't know if it's just the dwindling playerbase or what. I'm still excited for sciz, at least.

In the thread where Scizor's render was first posted (along with Dodrio and Mew's) it got a ton of replies saying that they'd been wanting it forever and they're hyped (at least from what I remember). Most people go their reactions out over a month ago, plus know we know they're doing the gems for a week thing to boot, so it's considerably more quiet.

Man, most people I feel that are bad at jungling can’t do it because they don’t rotate and take their own buffs.

They’ll get the first round of buffs, then kinda stay in a lane forever? Letting their next farm go to waste. After the first Birds/bees at 8:50 you should really go back to your jungle in most case scenarios. This lets you rotate 3 times before 7 minutes. If you don’t then you end up at like level 7-8 only rather than 10-11.

I hate jungling because if the other jungler rotated to Top too (like they should) it can be a complete crapshoot if bouncing the moment birds are down is the smart thing to do or dooming the laner to die depending on how the fight went.

I think it’s always better to just abandon the lane after birds, your buffs are more guaranteed than just camping a lane. If your team mates are flopping despite your help then oh well. It’s more important that you focus on leveling yourself up.

Did a little bit of looking into how Zoroark's Illusion works.
