This is the most forgettable travelling companion I've ever seen. What the hell is her character? Why is she so bland looking? Her entire purpose(girl who gets an Eevee) is scrapped after Goh is gone.

She's only there because management forced them to include a female character. The director wanted a boy's only Ash and Goh buddy show and so he uses Chloe as little as possible and even then he uses her badly. She was OK until she got Eevee, then she got fucked.

The damn thing should have never come to that in the first place. Who looks at Pokémon’s group dynamic for 20+ years and goes ‘You know what we need? To get rid of the girl’? It basically caused the group dynamic to end up as Ash and smarter Ash that doesn’t battle

She should've stayed in the background, like early on in PM19's run. The series didn't have time to waste on her pointless episodes, especially after the hiatus due to covid. We could've had more episodes where Ash battled opponents in the PWC. More episodes where Goh participated in PM missions. That should've been the focus; not wasting ten episodes just so Koharu could come to the conclusion of "it's okay not to rush things!" If they wanted to shill Eevee, they should've just given it to Goh.

I like PM19 a lot. For me personally though, Koharu is the weakest link and brings the series down. I would've rather her time be used to strengthen Ash/Goh's character and story arcs.

Let’s be real, Koharu’s episodes weren’t the problem when it came to the series’ pacing, it was the filler fat that wasn’t trimmed especially after the Covid hiatus

Ash should've had more time his Pokemon and battles, Koharu should've had more time for her arc, the old companions and Pokemon should've had more time for their returns and proper interactions with Ash and other characters like Leon should've been fleshed out more. Even with Covid, all of this could've been possible, but it wasn't because of one thing that constantly took up screen time in the show with nothing meaningful to show for it.

Go. Every problem with Journeys all comes down to Go's existence taking over the show and doing nothing interesting or meaningful. If he was gone, everything would be fine. Go really should've just had his own spinoff show to himself instead if he had to exist, but then they wouldn't be able to shotabait all the weird ass fujos into watching it.

The funniest thing is that she didn't get the eevee for a pretty damn long time and during that time she was the worst. Her eevee is the best eevee so far though, made her bearable at least.

And Pokémon Go offers nothing meaningful to the anime hence why they had to invent Project Mew to not just make Go’s entire existence just chucking balls at everything that breaths.
