Honestly it was pretty easy. After the season reset, I took my 2 week break to get coins for Zor.
Despite the retards in Vet/Ult, they are not retarded enough to ignore a stun lock on a main jungle mon like Gengar/Scizor/T-tar/Absol/Dudrio.
Honestly the best feeling is stun locking Mew/Mime because then they are basically dead once stunned unless they have their Unite.

They ruined the new map by making Ray into a coinflip. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking, the game was actually playable. You can't give Rayquaza Zap-like qualities but still have it be a giant fucking pit that is difficult to get around in and has a terrible layout for team fights.

I picked Clefable when we had 3 all-arounders since I'm able to easily get 140k healing when I have a team of mostly all-arounders.

What the FUCK am I, the Machamp, supposed to do when my ranger and flanker refuse to finish off kills that run out of my distance and instead choose to do fucking nothing?

My Scizor was great, my Clefable tried, but we had two players basically fucking throwing. Why am I getting paired with these people? Why are they not just locked to bot matches, they won't know the difference.

Can someone tell me where I'm supposed to position myself during the fug dragon pit fight as a glass canon attacker? I always feel lost. If I get too close to the inner bushes, I get jumped on. If I stay too far away from my team, I get flanked from one of the lower or upper lanes and die. If I'm too close to my teammates, I get caught in the Ult fight and perish.

I'm trying to play a little kite-y, but it always feels like I'm too into the fight and I die because I'm trying to be with my team, or I'm baiting TOO hard and my team dies and I'm the only one alive.

Keep in mind, this is soloQ, so I'm trying to "read the room" and follow teammate leads which isn't always the cleanest.

Its not Zapdos, so do not overcommit to it. If youre winning, your priority should be to just not get team wiped. If the enemy team gets fug, just make sure to break their green barriers before they get to your goals, especially if they carry 50 points. I typically do not care to defend the first goal if its still unbroken by Ray, but second and base should be protected at all costs.

I think the safest overall starting position is the bottom left bush (the place where you land with a launchpad), but just staying around the bottom area near your half of the map with your teammates is okay as well. Of course it all depends on the match.

Because there are so many variables at play, I can only suggest that you get good at tracking enemy whereabouts, positions, ult usage, specific threats, etc. These skills will translate into better fug positioning and fights.

The only frail attacker I can confidently play is Delphox, so I probably can't give specific advice for say Duraladon or Decidueye except for keep your eyes on that minimap.

It shames me to say, but this game is an amazing demoralization tool. Blissey can actually survive since she has
decent bulk. Blissey doesn't need the entire team to stick with her unlike Clefable, so she works better in SoloQ. Blissey's healing is also faster if you're good at managing her stacks. She has a better ult. She has a long range skill that can potentially steal objectives. Also both of Blissey's sets are good, so she can choose to be anti-CC if your team doesn't need healing.

And what is often overlooked is blisseys early game secure. Pound is amazing for last hits and stops many mons from stacking. Also blissey supports attackers and speedsters better than clefable who can only help tanky mons.

After all my games as Clefable in SoloQ, I figure out how to make it work(for me atleast), build her full resistances like a Tank so she won't be one shotted and can defend Goals almost like Blissey.

Full Blue+Purple, maybe try to squeeze in some White or Green, and for items just stack resistances with Focus Band/Assault Vest/Rocky Helmet, using this setup she'll last longer in fights and be harder to poke down, and it'll be easier for her to get in the fight for Gravity or Follow Me(Synergizes with Rocky Helmet and the shields from Passive and Ability with the resistances boosts synergizes with your Full Resistance Build making you quite Tanky), also this helps with using Draining Kiss since you won't just blowup trying to get close.

You don't do damage anyways no matter how much Special attack you have, and besides Special Attack only matter for the healing, but what is the point of it, if you'll be dead before you even have the chance to heal anyone, so why not build for survival so you can be actually around to heal your team? Live Longer Heal More.

I think this will be the build for me, I've been successfully climbing SoloQ Rank with it ever since.

I like this game quite a bit, and I want it to succeed, but it does need an injection. It seems like the worst time to be introducing these ideas (rising prices, gems for the first week, now this bundle only though still technically unconfirmed) right after the 1st year anniversary when the game almost certainly got a slew of new players (I joined at that time).

I LOVED the new map on release. It was fast-paced, backcapping became a viable strategy instead of an infuriating one, the coinflip mechanic was gone. Then they changed EXP distribution and the dragon's HP so now all the worst aspects of Remoat are back, except on a larger map which makes a ton of mons not viable anymore.

Then you have your typical power creep problems, balancing issues, terrible matchmaking. If you ever think the game is fun, at some point, Timi is going to come in and unnecessarily change it. Oh, what's that? You LIKE playing Cramorant? Go fuck yourself, here's three nerfs.

There were maybe three or four instances where I can remember the game being in a perfect state balance-wise. Then Timi went in and did random shit like buffing Absol or nerfing Mr. Mime (which then caused them to OVERbuff Mime) for no fucking reason. Mr. Mime was fine before his initial nerf. I was able to get 70k easy as a Barrier Mime and help my team no problem as a supporter. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.

The short sightedness of every corporate suit in the world today is actually astounding to me. If you allow funny number to go down for even half a quarter while you redesign the game profit design for maximum profit later, then of course you will have a better long term profit plan. But that's the kicker: funny number has to go down for a bit to make it go up long term. Instead they're scrimping for every penny they can get as soon as something looks shaky. I don't know whether everyone is still traumatized from 2008 or if every corporation sees things as only pump and dump schemes, but it's really a fucking stupid financial strategy to have.

However, the thing about this one is that this isn't just any random Chinese gacha, this is Pokemon. They're wrongly treating what could be a massive money maker from being a Pokemon game alone, but maybe they had higher expectations and now don't care as much, who knows. Definitely short-sighted though. This isn't the way to make new fans, and certainly not the way to retain old ones.

Oddly, I think a fair solution to this would have been the coin prices are raised by 4000 for let's say the first week to a month, with the gem price remaining the same, then revert back to usual numbers after that. Or weekly sales on the freeweek Mons.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg, things could definitely be better managed.

I keep hearing about how this game's pricing model relies on whales, but in my opinion there's not enough for whales to buy to be successful. Whales need to be able to spend endlessly to keep racking up big dollar signs. I have probably spent $400-500 on this game, casually buying the passes and subscription and an occasional skin here and there. Am I considered a whale?

From my understanding, whales spend several thousands on a single game, but there just isn't that much for them to buy, even if they do buy every overpriced $40 skin.

As a side note, I intended to purchase whatever bundle was coming out, as I liked having the rare dressed up new mon. So even if the other team had the new mon, mine had the cool hat/outfit/whatever that made him special. Now that every zoroark will have the costume, I just plan to wait to buy it with gold in a week, if at all. Learn2psychology, timi.

This game doesn't make money because they don't deserve it. People are happy to spend when the game is good, this is the case with every F2P game except gachas, and even gachas survive more when they're less greedy and incompetent. This is the fucking Pokemon IP, if even the braindead NPCs who defend this franchise with their lives aren't supporting the game then the game is really fucking bad. It should always heal Clefable and an ally if they're nearby. Clefable isn't tanky enough even with the brief Follow Me buff to survive in the middle of a fight. Clef's raw stats should also be raised a bit, at least its HP.

Venu clearly favors the petal dance build now with those buffs. Also getting its unite more often so that doesn't hurt. I still prefer beam.

Also don't disparage Trev buffs, no matter to what move. Wood Hammer is criminally underrated just because Horn Leech is so good, and these buffs may actually make it a situationally good choice.

Actually mime confusion damage while power swapped also got nerfed.

Although to be honest I would like that fucking clown nerfed into the ground at this point, literally reduce everything and add at least 2 seconds to every move.

Truly beautiful!!!! The top damage mons that are also extremely fast got the nerfs they deserved but the other half got lucky.

>Garchomp massive buffs across the bored
>Crustle rock tomb finally getting a proper buff as its the only defensive move it has instead of Gotta go fast
>Goss Pollen puff/Cotton guard buff (been asking for a Pollen puff buff but getting Cotton guard buff makes it even better & muscle band set is even better
>Vensuar bulk buff for petal build means that Mew still replaces Saur sniper build but Saur is decent in tanking a bit now

Hoopa buffs are meh/Clef DK/Follow me buffs may be something but that mon is still squishy as heck so will have to experiment with those 2.
Hate the greninja buffs because shit players will pick this mon but still suck with it
Mew still dominates sadly keke but at least the base damage was nerf.
At the very least lower mons like Crustle/Goss/Garchomp got buffs they needed and now less damage in the meta for a bit.
