Genwunners are literally the plague of the pokemon fanbase and responsible for the absolute pathetic state of the game at the moment, starting with gen 5 remakes.
>Gamefreak tries to do something original in gen5 with no old mons in regional dex, rebooted route numbers, ect
>genwunners cry and scream and drop BW2, even though it added a bunch of obligatory genwunner mons
>Gamefreak panics and X/Y comes out super pozzed
>Full of pandering to genwunners including genwunner shitmons being obligatory additions to every game gen 6 fowards.
>never get a region without at least half old mons going forwards, most of which will be obligatory gen 1 shitmons like Charizard
>noticeable reduction in difficulty going forward and abandon of the postgame easy/challenge modes
>new gimmick battle mechanic every generation
>type rebalancing and a new type in response to bitching, which isnt a problem but is huge move for gamefreak
How do we get out of this shit timeline where every game is gonna be full of genwunner bait and shitty mechanics?
