I've been foaming at the mouth waiting for the earthworm reveal, but seeing this is kinda deflating. it's not bad, but a boss-monster earthworm should have been a slam-dunk design.

For me it's the blue things on its clitellum. Why are two oriented along its x axis and one oriented along its z axis? I'm so fucking tired of them not drawing Pokemon before they model them. It's clearly some dipshit was using a subtraction modifier on some cylinders and was like "hmm what if I rotate it along the Y axis for this one?" What happens is it looks like shit.

It's certainly better than that sketch we had awhile ago, and quite a unique design for a pokemon. I like it, it looks like it could battle well but at the same time it has that "just wants to mind its own business" feel that you get from earthworms. It's also a Steel type that doesn't look overly metallic, which I'm always a fan of them trying out.

Snakes are more intimidating than earthworms.

If it was supposed to be some giant leech, bristle worm, blood worm or some other such thing I'd expect something more intimidating, but not from an earthworm.
