In all seriousness though, I agree. While I still think PvP is fun, RNG is one of the main reasons why I haven't seriously gotten into it and mostly just dick around.
Now that I think about it, it's kinda strange how the amount of RNG in battles has remained pretty much unchanged throughout the years when you consider the fact that GF has been trying to focus on competitive and online battling more. Pretty much every other multiplayer game with an officially supported competitive scene either has no RNG in the first place, or has an alternate format in which RNG isn't a factor. Then again Gamefreak isn't exactly known for their competence regarding competitive.
