>>52712929Because being bullied doesn't necessarily make you a bitch, and if you start acting mean the moment you're no longer the target, you're no better than your bullies.
I feel a bit more sympathy for the other Team Star Heads, they were bullied (though most for stupid reasons) and ended up idealizing and idolizing Cassiopeia because she was the only person offering them comprehension and support, despite never disclosing her real identity for over one year.
They tried to grow strong together to handle their suffering more easily and found their treasure in a strong friendship against adversities.
They risked it all, even being expelled, because they refused to let go of the only thing that brought them joy in a harsh period of their life.
They made mistakes but those mistakes were grounded in the need of overcoming struggles and finding people to be understood and welcomed by.
Penny, on the other hand, never has a real growth. She seems to develop a bit of God complex in the realm of her alt Cassiopeia because of how broken the Team Star Heads are (thus treating her like a sort of deity simply because she offered them a solution to their problems behind a screen).
She's the cause of Team Star's problems currently, and while she admits it, she doesn't take responsibility for it until the playas defeats her.
What was the point of that?
Penny wanted Team Star to crumble for their own good, so what was the point of challenging the player to defeat her?
And I can't believe someone who doesn't have the courage to tell a bunch of bullied kids who idolize her that they're risking to be expelled behind a screen and fake voice, would actually have the courage to show up to battle the player and stuff.
Penny's behavior makes no sense.
If anything, Team Star is a prime example of how being bullied and fragile makes you more prone to believe whatever bullshit a stranger online that did something to make you admire them feeds you.
