It is true that we haven't had a snake that the fanbase cares about as much as Milo and Serp for a while now (in fact, I'm now realizing just how much those two carry snake threads on their backs), but I don't see how that would lower the number of snake threads all that much. I feel like dumb drama has done more damage to snake threads than anything.

I should've asked him to elaborate cause I'm still don't know what he meant by that. My best guess is that it had something to do with the fact that by that point he wasn't really drawing Pokemon that much anymore and was mostly drawing anthro dragons, and that he was insecure about the change.
I remember awhile ago he was talking in his Discord server about how he was getting tired of social media and was thinking about just leaving it for good. Judging by the fact that he's no longer in his own server (he even handed over the ownership of it to someone else), I'm guessing he went through with that.
