About 600 eggs in, still 0 shinies out of the 9 needed. I forgot how much I hate egg shinies.

If I get to 1000 with no shiny I'll just wait and pray the starters are available in the wild in the DLC.

I still haven't actually hunted in SV, last night I ran into a Flabébé outbreak and was gonna go for that but realized I didn't have any Herba Mystica and wasn't feeling autistic enough to reset without it, so I just went to do raids and ran into a Shiny Cryogonal.
That's my 5th Shiny, after Corvisquire, Skiddo, Raichu and a Magikarp that was just lying on the beach the day before. Feel like my luck is pretty crazy, even in PLA I didn't get this many just from playing the game.

I had a Charcadet outbreak yesterday, I got to work.
I put in the hours and got three shinies, female in Luxury Ball, female in Love Ball, and male in Poké Ball.

This was without shiny charm or sparkling power as I haven't finished post-game or Pokédex yet, and only have the one herba mystica. So this was 1/1366 odds.
I'm actually surprised I got three.

The male one was modest, so that'll be evolved into Armarouge when I get the item from Scarlet version eventually.

Vaporeon. Saved right in front of it, reloaded and nowhere to be found. Saving on top of the water for some reason suspends you in the air then drops you onto your ride Pokemon, so maybe that makes things different? Found that one in around 10 minutes but now I haven't found another since.

Am I just unlucky again? Im wasting herba mystica on this shit, and from what I read, eggs are generated the samse way as in gen 7; resetting the game wont change the eggs you get. Please enlighten me, what am I doing wrong?

Ability Patches and capsules, mints, and bottle caps are ample in raids. The only thing I've found worth breeding is for a 0 IV in speed and attack and just capping those if it's a pokemon that wants them.

I've tried it and sometimes it just does not want to work at all, having to try dozens and dozens of times, I guess even if you manipulate the types and the odds are marginally better some specific pokemon are just a bitch to get on your file

I am :( lv 2 encounter and have tried several different spawning spots for each of them (they all have same typing) and nothing, I even keep getting more of irrelevant types and areas than I do of relevant type / area I'm in. Why did I hunt for the Tadbulbs in the mountains... What a pain in the ass. I bet I've missed so many. Am I the only one who worries that a shiny won't be obvious and I'll just reset the spawns while it's there.

Not only is there no limit, but I think they affect all spawns in the world of that Pokemon. Anecdotal, but I found 2 shiny Glimmet in an outbreak, then a few hours later that same day found a third in Area Zero.tx

How long do you guys stay in an Outbreak before picnic resetting? Do you try to let x amount of them spawn before resetting, or do you just reset regardless of how many showed up.
