The only issue with the story of BW is how at the very end Ghetsis jumps out behind you and talks all very cliche-villain-like. It kinda spoils everything that came before, which was done very well. This is the one part I think PokeSpe did better than the games, though the pacing in PokeSpe is pretty awful, it's like SAO with all the time-skips.

Maybe read the news and people's reactions for once. Japan's violent crime rate is virtually non-existent and all this did was reinforce how destructive guns are and what would start happening at a larger scale if they were to be openly sold.

The post you replied to wasn't even advocating for gun control, only arguing that Japan reacted poorly to the news. Reactions aside, this is a point against gun control because the weapon wasn't bought or sold, it was handmade and nobody stopped the shooter as they didn't have guns themselves.

I skipped b2w2 because bw felt so laggy when playing it and I just assumed it’s going to be the same slogfest. Thankfully the next gen was overall faster; unfortunate gen 9 is closing in on gen 5 terms of lag
