XY are about the same as games like DP, in that they clearly have potential but are weighed down by unpolished and even downright unfinished elements. But Unlike DP they didn't get their third version, so Unlike sinnohfetuses they don't have an actually decent game they can retreat to when XY get criticized.
So instead we get shit like Kaloschizo who essentially just erratically deflects all criticisms for lack of a reasonable hill to die on.
