An alright game with some annoying flaws that don't exist in the other PMD games.
Also chespin is the best starter.

Gameplay makes you think about your options, story was boring (I hated the guild section),

Probably only beaten by Sky in terms of MD games, but that's not saying a lot. Still a very solid game for 5 quid

In the older games you would have to recruit team members in dungeons, in this one you simply complete missions to recruit them.
I believe this was a necessary change because it would be very difficult to stuff all 720 pokemon in the game into dungeons but it still isn't as fun as recruiting in dungeons. although it is far less tedious

Deny it all you want, but Chespin is statistically the strongest starter in SMD. Where other starters might struggle to have one good attack, Chespin's got multihits, ranged attacks, and multihit ranged attacks.
