Everybody knows the cat is gonna be Charmander 2. Friendly at first, Floragato is gonna be a fucking asshole and then the final cat is gonna get neutered into basic friendly anthromon (Cinderace 2)

Also the croc is never gonna evolve (Totodile 2)
The duck is gonna be nice to the brown boy but their only purpose is gonna be to become the main rival so it can job at end of the series.

Also Pikachu is getting benched, she's getting a Pawmo (middle evo) as her first catch.

In terms of popularity it'd make sense to keep Croc at Base. All 3 Stages of Cat are popular and all 3 stages of the gay duck suck so it doesn't matter for em.
I would honestly hope Riko gets the weed cat, the shitskin gets the croc and the duck gets taken by the Professor or Headmaster guy and is rarely seen again afterwards.

Pretty slim, most of the time the girl characters in the anime gets the girly/female Pokemon, May probably being the only exception with Blaziken.
