Why is breeding a team for battle such a slog? It's a lot easier now than it used to be but I only have a meowscarda and glimmora that are actually up to snuff and everything else is just shit, what are people even using for cart battles these days?

It's pretty easy if you ask me. 5IV parents are easy through raids and 5IV and 6Iv dittos were given out en masse when the game released. Also I don't even go for 5IV pokemon anymore since bottle caps are so cheap. A 4IV is good enough if I don't get a 5IV in my first batch of 5 eggs. What's a real pain in the ass is fucking EV training. There's no real crazy money farm like there was in Isle of Armor and there aren't any discounted vitamins either yet. Resetting outbreaks to ev train is fine but since they removed Pokerus it takes way longer than it should even with Power items. and Let's Go kills not giving EVs is retarded

Robodeli, Flutter Mane, other paradoxes, pseudos, Palafin, etc
Only thing that blows this Gen is Tera type everything else is easy

set ups is extremely consistent if the rest of the team add an even number of chromosomes, why would you ever whant to chip the hp little by little when playing with randoms a shield up is pretty much a lost 90% of the time.
now I have to ask what are you doing while they set up? using random attacks that chip 0.5% of the pokemon hp instead of helping them with cheers heal/defense

the theory is fine and I'm behind set ups in a group, but set ups in public rooms fail far more often than slamming into shields. i run a light screen/reflect set half the time expecting half the room to be playing set up because of fucking course they are, and most of the time even if nothing interferes with it they don't manage to kill, activate the shield far away from terastalization, then try to set up again while stats are being wiped instead of just attacking.

i'd bet money too that most of them silently scoff at their teammates when they have the easiest job in the world putting all the onus of actually doing the raid on the other players. fuck set up players.

You need to purchase it then using bank download the Poketransporter which requires the eShop but is downloaded through bank.
After it should either be free or require a home subscription, but so far it's stated to be free.

They are underestimating the stack up on Psyblade + E. Terrain + SD. If a team doesn't change/break Terrain and/or deal with +6 off SDs (by Taunt/Unaware), they WILL eat shit and fail the raid. A Scizor works fine too I guess

IIRC Screech, Iron Head, Helping Hand, Sword Dance. Raid leader uses SD first turn and everyby else screeches, then next turn the raid leader attacks and everybody else using HH on him. If something somehow survives, repeat step 2.

To that extent, genned mons by nature (by having one traded to you) by nature are usually considered second hand by their system, so if you're really going to use any, might as well gen a perfect IV foreign Ditto for breeding.
