Dawn cameo'd VERY late into JN, wouldn't it be a waste to not ask her Seiyuu to ask a few more lines for an extra appearence in MPM a few months later?
No need for any shipping conotation here. It's just plain and simple logic. I'm not even saying she'll interact with Ash directly, but It'd be a shame to not have her there, maybe interacting with Misty (first time), Gary and Brock

Piplup is a mascot that became popular without being constantly shoved on to people throat like Eevee. Combined with the fact that Dawn worked better as a Co-protagonist than Goh and Alain did.

If Anipoke run by smart and practical people then they would have redesigned Dawn to make her pretter than all the female protagonist (so people doesn't need to ask for Hilda or Rosa to be in the anime) and use her Co-protagonist to shill her Piplup.

As far as I see, the only thing Mega Charizard Y did was jobbing to Mega Charizard X in a humiliating way. It would have been more fitting Ash use Mega Charizard Y to oneshot Alain's Mega Charizard X the same way to even the playing field.

Characters like May and Serena haven't been relevant since Gen 6 when the 3DS was still being sold in stores. They already had their sendoffs in JN. The anime writers aren't going to muddle the ending by bringing back every literal who companion who traveled with Ash decades ago. The only reason Dawn got brought back temporarily was to shill PLA. The series is about to end, and othergirlsfags still can't accept that their waifus were only ever written into this anime to shill the current main series vidya.

If there is a party at Oak's lab in the final episode and some additional companions show up, I hope one of them is Goh. He told Ash that he better become a Pokemon Master when they parted, and he was really supportive of Ash's goal to reach Leon, so him being there for the big moment would be very fitting.

Most people didn't have home Internet in 1996 and 1997 either. Pokemania was spread mostly by word of mouth since kids would tell other kids to watch the anime. I first heard about Pokémon when a girl in my 2nd grade class brought some gachapon toys to school that her father had bought in Japan before Red and Blue were brought over to the US. My first exposure to the games was when my friend from church brought his Gameboy with him on a school field trip.

I liked The Distant Blue Sky, but Idk I feel about it being the last time we see AU Ash and Pikachu. I suppose the ending does very much give the vibe of an adventure that has no end and a dream as vast as the open sky, so to some degree it fits the theme Pokemon loves to run with, with that being the journey continues.

I find it iiiiiiiinteresting that both Pokeshippers and Amourshippers landed on the same conclusion about Milfty on twitter and serrebii.
They both seem to think it being Misty = Misty marries Ash.
I say this because most people, meaning most non shippers, either didn't make note of it or can tell it's improbable that anyone could accidentally draw that. However there's a number of amourshippers insisting that it is an accident.
I'll assume for the sake of conversation that Pokeshippers might do the same thing in the reverse circumstance, and that amourshippers would not reach this conclusion if they did not reach the prior conclusion (Adult Misty=Misty endgame)
It's interesting what shipping does to basic pattern recognition I'm pretty sure a monkey or a parrot would recognize this as simply Misty

People still give 4Kids flak but they don’t even exist anymore, and they dubbed the Pokémon Series better than TPCi themselves did. Really sad after close to two decades, the dub is unwatchable, even compared to when they first took over. Absolutely soulless, Taylor only lasted through late AG and most of the English fandom still agrees she did better than Natochenny on Ash and Delia with less than half the time the latter has had. And that goes for pretty much all Gen 1-3 roles.

It’d be one thing if it was just subpar voice acting that defines modern PokeAni dubs, but add to that worse than ever music replacement levels, very poor dialogue (Cathcart is worse now than he was in the later 4Kids days and even his earlier TPCi days at script writing) choices, bad censorship back…

How is the Pokémon dub worse than it ever was before? Cheapness.

True, also “Going to Latios” from M05 was kept by 4Kids more in the dub than TPCi.

They cared a lot more about music all around and voice over quality than the modern dub, period.

The writing was at least less slangy and alliterative then, ironic.
