Its fine to shit on Geeta's team but this chick's just avoids all criticism for no good reason at all. DuDunSparce? Orthworm? Lycanroc? Goodra ie.

I mean tbf, this is the team she built to battle you with throughout your journey and, prior to the final battle, that team was mainly just meant to help you improve. This was the team she started building while you were a complete newbie so that you might've actually stood a chance when you two battled. She went all out in her final battle with you, but with the same training wheels team she was using to teach you the basics, so of course it's gonna suck a little. I am bitter we didn't get to battle any of her other teams, though, since they make it clear she has plenty of other mons.

The Academy Ace Tournament is honestly the n°1 most wasted thing in the whole game

I think some in game teams are really hurting from them not wanting to use repeat mons, or "tricky" for the AI mons. Either Nemona or Geeta could be using a Palafin for example.

They just need to bring back difficulty levels. I don't want to feel like I have to use mid-tier mons like Jumpluff and Ampharos just to have a challenge. I want to use cool mons. Clavell had a better team than Geeta and Nemona.

I think this is a team of her favorite mons instead of just whatever competetivefag shit is the best. It's explicitly said she isn't using her real championship team.
On the other hand, I feel like she should consistently be several levels over the player even if you're overleveled, and have her switch out mons for types you bring out or tera, so that you can't just spam a single button and win, kinda simulating that even if she doesn't have metashit, she's still great at it. Like give me a reason to fear her dog's accelerock or something

nta but I feel like we'll at least see them in the first bit of the teal mask. It's a school trip so it would make sense that the three friends come with us. We'll probably ditch them within the first half hour of the dlc right before we meet the new characters, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're chilling in the area where the rest of the school faculty and students are staying.
