But yes, this Pokemon would indeed become better if it had acces to a wider variety of moves, shocking as it is.

Depends on the TM moves available but Taunt and Toxic would be huge wins. Honestly Prankster wouldn't even be that bad either, you'd need a plan for Dark types but something like Spikes / Taunt / Destiny Bond / Counter @ Colbur Berry looks really annoying as a lead for some teams.
