I don't really care for Eevee and it's evolutions. Yeah, it's a neat novelty that it can evolve into multiple pokemon of different typing. But I would rather use any other pokemon of the same type than waste a slot on Eevee. And their designs aren't exactly interesting to me, either.

The whole gimmick of evolving into anything isn't even used well. Like, the whole point is that Eevee's DNA is so unstable it can become anything but only two Eeveelutions actually do anything with this, with one not even being cool. Those being Vaporeon, who can melt its "water-like DNA" into reforming its body and Leafeon which can... do photosynthesis because it's like a plant. How interesting. Some of them don't even make any fucking sense, like Flareon and Glaceon "adapting" to the heat/cold by gaining the ability to heat up/cool down.
Unironically Burmy did it better.

Sorry, it's been years and I still don't like it. Umbreon has these ugly bulbous ears and tail that stick out like a sore thumb. It's also the perfect cookie cutter edgy cutemon that helped catapult it into popularity among edgelords and furries. It's also a huge bore to play with and against in battle, inspiring tiresome stalling strategies to chip out your opponents. It's also very boring to look at.

its the closest thing to a "shillmon that Gen 2 had (prominent role in story, got a mega when even the starters didn't get anything).
Believe it or not, its a conventual weapon people use against Gen 2 ("Ampharos is the ONLY goo Gen 2 Pokemon. Crystal is unplayable because you can't get Ampherino there and all the other Gen 2 pogymons ARE LITERALLY UNUSABLE")

I liked Gholdengo before we even knew what it's stats were.
The whole "durr it's liked because it's strong" shit is just cope, anyways. Mons like Landorous, Ferrothorn, an Toxapex aren't popular despite their viability, and mons like Luxray, Zoroark, and Tinkaton are popular in spite of it. Gholdengo got constant bump limit threads from launch until last month or so (no matter how unhinged they were), that doesn't happen because people like using it in comp a whole bunch.

There's a bunch of Alolan Pokémon I could post, but this one is by far the most offensive to me. Really says a lot about the modern youth (which includes myself) that one of the most popular Pokémon is a fiendish introvert that wears a Pikachu skin just so that it can garner undeserved love. Can’t give an objective statement on a subjective topic.
To me, it looks more like what an out-of-touch corporate suit deems “traditionally cool” to me. A robot with sword arms? Sounds like it would be a hit by concept, but the execution looks…terrible. I’m surprised people love such a (in my eyes) poorly executed design. Perhaps I’m biased, though, I never understood the concept of robot=cool.

I can't stand its design. The face is ugly, the short legs look terrible, and its name was too long so instead of coming up with a better name they just took out the last vowel in its name.

I like Totodile and love Croconaw. If they were a random 2 stage evolutionary line from like Gen 3 or 4 or something, I probably would've loved the line. Feraligatr just ruins it.

the more I think about garchomp, the less I like it
