>>53486433I haven't really got a favorite, and I consider my proper starter a different Pokémon, but I've always had a huge fondness for the Hoenn trio. There's not a single design I dislike here, their megas are all great (save for maybe Swampert's, it feels a bit imbalanced), and they've all been incredibly useful lynchpins of their teams whenever I play through Hoenn.
Blaziken is probably the one I'm closest to since I used it in my first playthrough of Hoenn and is residing on my most-played game of all time atm at level 97 (higher than all but one other Pokémon i've ever owned), but Swampert has my favorite design and PMD has endeared me to Sceptile's line greatly.
They're all incredible, really. Absolutely 0 complaints, and I wish there were more trios like them out there.
