It's not enough that it starts out with the highest stats in the game so that if you're laning against it you might as well abandon that lane.
It's not enough that shreds defenders in no time flat.
It's not enough that if the enemy has a Zacian and you don't you're probably gonna lose.
It's not enough that if the enemy Zacian has a comfey it's pretty much a lost game 99% of the time.
It's not enough that it invalidates damn near the entire cast.
But it's also fucking EVERYWHERE along with Comfey.

Owl just fucking dies no matter where it is on the map, except in very rare scenarios where the team is actually really bulky and willing to act as a big fat meat shield for Owl so it can do its thing.
With Duraludon if even one person is protecting you then it's almost a free win since you can just pepper damage from afar and use the funny delete button known as Dragon Pulse if people try to run away, plus your ult makes the surrounding area a no-go zone for the enemy.

Aegis does a lot of damage from basic boosted attacks, but its boosted attack mechanics work differently from others'. Moves like Wide Guard will also give you boosted counts to unleash boosted attacks. People also tend to farm wild mons using moves and save boosted attacks for enemies (unless there's no enemy around). You should also enable boosted attack count interface option in settings.

As for the build, you can use matchcord emblem set. And iirc I like to use Focus, Scope and Cookie or weight, but in all honestly it's been a while since I performed good on Aegislash

Aegislash hits pretty hard actually. The problem with him is one that I believe Garchomp shares as well is that they when they go in they can't really back away from a fight. They're 100% in and if your team doesn't back you or if extra help comes for you enemy you die. Another issue that Aegislash has is that he can only equip 3 items but so many items are really good on him. In fact some items completely change how you can play him and what he is capable of doing. I know that sounds kind of dumb but here's an an example. I could be off as I haven't actually tested this but just something I've happened to notice, it's hard not to notice things when you have a vision like mine, but let's say you have 2 identical Aegislash players and one had a muscle band and one does not. The one with Muscle Band can shred pretty much any objective to 50% hp instantly with a full stack of boosteds while one without can only do about 30%. That's a pretty big difference for having or not having a single item. There's a bunch of other things like that but maybe not clearly seen or large of an effect

Anyway here are the items I like best with him. I change them depending on if I'm expected to lane or forced into jungle with him and if I feel like being tankier or not.

>muscle band(must have if forced into jungle or you need more damage to shred objectives, if you have a ray ripper such as Duralodon or something you maybe don't actually need this)
>attack weight (sword has pretty large ratios/scaling)
>weakness policy(bigger shields)
>focus band/cookie(having any extra health to allow you to live to your next wide guard is huge)
>buddy barrier(this one is good simply because you are most vulnerable while in sword form which your unite forces you in

this, it's pretty much the problem i have with stealth rock
especially when it's not the + version slowing people that you get at lvl 13 (which is pretty much impossible to reach with a defensive to build, please nerf the + version levels for defenders timi)

Navy is Dragon type, and there really aren't many in the first 2 generations. Also they really should be indigo, just like brown should be orange.

probably rapid. Wicked is only really good for picking one carry and pressing a button to remove them from every team fight. I'll usually play wicked to counter enemy rapid bears. But rapid feels much stronger after the unite nerfs to wicked.

Running around with Moonlight and constantly surviving fights on a sliver of health while also healing the entire team for 4x their health is fun, but I just wanna be able to run Draining Kiss once in a while without actively trolling or playing against a full melee comp (which never happens).

Follow Me legitimately feels like it does nothing most of the time, and more often than not you don't want it anyway since you're gonna get instagibbed for running into the enemy team as someone who isn't Trevenant. Gravity just shuts down so many relevant mons that there is literally no reason not to run it.

It is OP. It does so much damage that even tanks have a hard time standing against it, it gets a free Full Heal+Shield+X Speed to get away from literally anything outside of Slowbro's ult, and a fully boosted Zacian ult one-shots anything that's not a tank, and even tanks get like 90% of their health yanked off.
The enemy was just smart enough to say "FUCK YOU" and take you out before you could do any serious damage because they (rightfully) despise Zacian that much.

This is the only game that had ever made me rage quit and I blame the fucking matchmaking.

There should really be a higher rank. I am no pro but Masters feels retarded still, maybe I am just matching with a lot of Ultras, but I notice a lot of players don't fully grasp a lot of the mechanics. Lane partners don't contest farm in the middle, sometimes not even in lane, teammates can go as far as to steal the starting farm from you just because or go away to score mid-fug, ect. Stuff like these shouldn't be happening in the higher levels of ranked.

Making a higher rank wouldn't solve anything, shitters would still make it to those ranks just by spamming matches.
They should make it so that Vets only match with Vets, Ultras only match with Ultras, and Masters should only match with players within about 200 elo of each other.
They should also make it harder to climb earlier on like in Season 1, as well as make it so you can actually fall out of Masters to encourage you to actually play well and make the shitters fall like their supposed to.

But not only that you pretty much earn more rating than lose up to around 1600 so not only are you placed in masters for free pretty much, you also get random dragged up the ladder to 1600 pretty much.

Now we'll have shitters who can't reach masters saying that's impossible but that's simply because you won't play enough marches or game the performance system.

Sylveon's pretty good.
Hyper Voice Sylveon is more like a mid-liner, while Mystic Fire is more like a sp.attacking brawler.
If you truly wanna play ranged go with something like Gardevoir, Delphox, or Espeon.

To add to this, Hyper Voice/Calm Mind is a tank buster set. Lowering Special Defense by 80% is nothing to sneeze at, and if you have another special attacker on the team you can MELT tanks. You can also obliterate squishies if they don't move which is always hilarious.

Mystical Fire/Draining Kiss is much weaker single target, but more consistent for damage and has higher sustain which can win you 1 on 1 fights that HV/CM would lose. It's also better for mobility and is a great set for learning positioning and range that carries over to other pokémon.

I feel like I have crazy good early to mid game but very inconsistent late game.

I can have or be close to double digits in kills with say, Crustle or Venasaur by minute 3 but still struggle to reach level 13 before fug.

It took the enemy Zacian/Comfey duo getting 29 kills while our entire team had 0's across the board for me to finally say "Fuck this, I'm done".
Uninstalled it last night.
If I hear about Knife Mutt and Daisy Chain getting nerfed hard then maybe I'll come back, but until then I'm out.
Now I just need to cut myself off from this place, but that's gonna be even harder than cutting myself off from the game.

Is it possible to deal damage with Venusaur? I just lost 3 games in a row with him and wasn't able to score once. His attacks don't deal any damage so he just gets gangraped by anything he gets in a fight with.

After playing most of the Pokemon in Zacian's Weald I'd put Venusaur near the very bottom tier, just above Sableye.

Rapid-fire Scarf or Muscle Band over spoon. Venusaur needs to spam autos when it's in PD to do damage while Giga Drain resets. Focus Band over Leftovers, it'll heal you in a pinch but has a long cooldown. Never put Leftovers, Assault Vest, or Rocky Helmet on ANY pokemon.

Fights happen so quickly that by the time the back-capper gets finished dunking his team'll be long dead and the enemy will have secured the objective.
It's almost always a better idea to just help the team and then score later, especially during Rayquaza, the most important objective in the game.
The only time I'd say it's acceptable to back-cap is when there's like 20 seconds left and it's clear neither team is gonna get rayquaza.

In the time the guy is backcapping, its a 4v5, if the backcapper is a particularly impactful Pokemon, it means the 4 have a serious risk of being run over.
I can only really justify Pokemon like Lucario, Sableye, Dragonite, Dodrio backcapping in most scenarios.

Backcapping is ultimately contextual and knowing when to backcap is just as impactful as knowing when to fight the team at Ray.

Alternatively when the fight is really spread out and dragging on. If its spread out, your teammates don't tend to get blown up as quickly and scoring those points can put pressure on the enemy. But yeah, 9/10 times I'd rather have a teammate with me at fug then messing around with their goal.

On an unrelated note, this is a great way to exemplify why "equity" and "muh equality of outcome" is a retarded idea that doesn't work and incentives skilled people to not do their best while the unskilled can just coast to their desired results and not do anything.
