Egg Groups at least justified Lance when Gen 2 came along although I have no idea why he has three Dragonite when Gen 1 has 5 fully-evolved dragons to work with

Using a starter would be lame being that your rival that comes next might also have it and Seadra doesn't really convey power the way other dragons do

But speaking of Agatha I would have swapped Arbok for Marowak or Persian.
