Megas would have been good if only shitmon got them.
But that 600BST pseudo-legendaries or already strong monsters like Gengar got mega evolutions is just ridiculous.
The best Megas were ones like Beedrill or Sableye.

I agree most of the megas should've been shitmons, but i don't mind it if strong mons occasionally get them if they're relevant to the story (starters/signature mon of bosses)
unfortunately megas were implemented so poorly into xy/oras we barely get to see them in action in-game(gym leaders after korrina for example should've had megas), for the most part they're basically a postgame only thing

Not OP but basically every time anyone says anything bad about Samurott an insufferable Samurott fan will usually derail the rest of the thread, post fan designs which are worse, call everyone a "quadrupedal fucker" or a furry, accuse them of hating any design that doesn't stand on two legs etc. etc.

This doesn't really happen for any other pokemon/fanbase as far as I'm aware so I think OP is right
