Dunno man for example this seller it's clearly just in a scanner and I can't tell if there's creases. I can only tell the noticeable whitening in the back. Maybe it has no creases or rough edges. Can't really tell.

Print size of those sets was about 1/10 ES. Pokemon literally built entire factories just to print ES lmao.
Not to mention those sets were all released in 2019, before every suburban asshole thought he could be the next Warren buffet of pokemon. People actually opened booster boxes back then

A lot of MCs don't have cards. Rosa, Gloria, and Serena have all come out relatively recently. I'm hoping that this means Hilda's time will come when the inevitable gen 5 remake arrives.

What's the luckiest you've ever gotten in the wild?
I went to a Dollar General in the sticks in early 2022, and for some reason they had 24 packs of Roaring Skies. Got them all and pulled the full art Latios EX, the full-art Rayquaza GX, a Shaymin EX, and the Mega Gallade EX.

Not exactly. In reality they cost 40$ and came with 2 evolving skies, 2 fusion strikes, 1 chilling reign, 1 rebel clash, and 1 swsh base. Evolving Skies was still more or less in abundance at the time so the promos themselves were the main draw.

That being said, the promos are certainly pricey in a relative sense. The boxes themselves seemed to have a relatively low print and naturally people snatched them up for the promos.

Justifiable because they're one of the only promo boxes, if not the only swsh box that featured 'alt arts'. Previously was what? Team Up tins, or the small but mighty box alt, and people loved those. Makes sense they would be pricier than the GO Alolan Exeggutor V box promo or something

I'm gonna miss VMAX. I'm glad I pulled Deoxys VMAX from a Crown Zenith pack recently, as I was considering buying it outright since Sword and Shield is getting phased out. I can't say I'm a fan of Scarlet and Violet with the EX bullshit and silver borders. Even if Sword and Shield is overprinted; I like it more than the new direction the cards are going.

The irony here is that if you didn't procrastinate and researched/opened a few years ago when you had the idea, you may (huge may) have been able to stay afloat, using the boom as your initial growth period. Now the market is so oversaturated with them and everyone and their mother has distribution. The established stores are already established.
