Even so, in a poll with a few hundred votes, a handful of trolls would need to submit dozens of (convincing) forms to hope to change the outcome. Basic statistics, outliers don't influence the results much if you have a large enough data pool. And though polls on 4chan aren't an exact science, the fact that the outcome is largely in line with previous years' polls makes it fairly reliable as to gauging /vp/'s tastes.
