Lots of Pokemon that look big and hulking, like Nidoking, aren’t as big as they should be. Many Legendaries should also be bigger. Something as powerful as Groudon, for example, shouldn’t be able to fit inside my bedroom if it crouches slightly. It should be as big as my whole house.

Personally, i would still keep The Nids to be smaller than the other Kaijumons, but they would still be bigger than human adults.
Also making Rhyperior twice as big as the other onesjust because i think it would be funny.

serpentine pokemon are measured based on length while bipedal pokemon are based on height which can get confusing with pokemon like furret

Weights are supremely fucked Mudsdales is almost as heavy as Groudon because it actually weighs as much as a Clydesdale horse. The majority of big pokemon and mineral based pokemon as supremely under weight.

It's probably measured taking the hunch in consideration.
If Conk stood upright he'd probably be somewhat taller, but either way it's dumb just look at his arms and his attack stat how can this menace of a fighter be 1.4 meters
I guess same goes for Machamp being 5'
