>>54022875But it is. Do you really think Renamon, a character from a franchise that doesn't have much modern relevance and doesn't even crack the top 50 of official fan polls, is in the top 6 out of raw attraction? Or Krystal who comes from a dead franchise? Loona who has climbed rapidly despite coming from a YouTube series? Most telling is Charizard and Arcanine who in general polls on "smashability" rank around 30%. Not only is it visible in various Pokémon being there, and outnumbering the human characters, but just in sheer volume of hundreds of Pokémon over a thousand NSFW pics out of a thousand compared to the much smaller human cast. The furry community is a force multiplier because they are a very art focused community laser in NSFW material which is what allowed Pokémon, Sonic, and Renamon to reach the upper tiers even over more popular and conventional attractive characters.
That's not ignoring the public consciousness regarding pokephilia which has been on the rise in no small part due to the vaporeon copypasta and markiplier video but at the same time it's still not all that popular. Compare the Chalkeaters "furrymon", a video all about fucking Pokémon, views at 5 million in comparison to the views on their bowsette video.
