Junichi Masuda is the main antagonist of Game Freak. He is a once beloved game developer who, after seeing memes criticizing Pokémon Black & White in 2010 posted by random grandmas on Facebook, became corrupt and heartless, vowing to diminish the quality of all future Pokémon games to soulless husks out of spite for the very fans who once treasured his games.

Goals:
-Make Pokémon fans around the world miserable and depressed (Succeeded)
-Cut Pokémon from all future games (Succeeded)
-Develop Pokémon games with as little effort for as much profit as possible (Succeeded)
-Force all Pokémon fans to worship Charizard (Failed)

Crimes:
-Terminal neverending shilling of Charizard
-Developing Pokémon X & Y as obvious Gen 1 pandering machines with no identity or post-game
-Cutting Pokémon permanently from ongoing Pokémon games starting with Sword and Shield, and laughing about it gleefully
-Creating civil war amongst Pokémon fans for fun
-Remaking Pokémon Diamond & Pearl with as many shortcuts as possible to purposefully make it bad
-Challenging fellow Game Freak employees to make the worst Pokémon game ever made (Scarlet & Violet) assuming it will sell millions anyway
-Choosing to ignore any and all criticism of how low the quality of modern Pokémon games has dropped
-General hatred and disgust towards all Pokémon fans
