Why are water starter final evolution designs so cursed? Blastoise was a strong start, then they immediately dropped the ball with Feraligatr. Swampert was a major step up, and Empoleon was alright, then they massively fucked up with the double-whammy of ugly shitmons that were Samurott and Greninja. Things got a bit better with Primarina and Inteleon, then Quaqaval absolutely shat the bed. Does Gamefreak just hate water starters?
