First, SV is almost entirely ugly and the lighting in particular is hideous. Even if a character design is good, it will be lessened by the actual game's look.
Second, SV came right after SS and Arceus, both of which had TOP TIER girls. SV just couldn't match and it probably left some of us feeling a little disappointed.
