>>54208499Heh, thank you kindly Anon. I’m glad that you and I are in accordance with each other on the matter of Iron Valiant. It’s definitely a real neat Pokemon, and I am glad that it is currently meant to be the “primary” or “emblematic” species chosen to represent the Future Paradoxes alongside Miraidon/Iron Serpent.
>>54208874Believe me, I agree with you wholeheartedly. If I were to hazard a guess, the overall design philosophy Game Freak went with for either half of the Paradoxes was meant to indicate to players that these Pokemon might not actually be the “ancient ancestors” and “future descendants” the Professors, Heath’s Books, and Occulture make them out to be. In general, there were many directions I felt that the designers and devs could have taken with the Paradoxes that may have been more appealing than what is now official, but I am not totally against what exists. If anything, I simply wish GF played even further into the whole “savage beasts” and “killer robots” theming they have. Make ‘em all look dangerous and ready to battle in order to contrast against the far more humanistic, modern day species everyone knows.
