>>54345452>Idk why vintagefaggots pretend that sw/sh is too modern. It's not that it's "too modern", of course the price will go up compared to the floor it's hitting now, that's like you say, a function of whether it's available at retail or not.
The problem is that the Gen 8 sets were fairly shit at first, and when they started getting good, they were printed into oblivion to the the point that you can STILL buy Celebrations, Silver Tempest, etc in stores. Evoving Skies is one of the only sets with good value and it's because it predated the insane printing and has tons of good cards. But it's also hoarded, so it's all sealed prices. Eventually most of that gets opened and the singles market will drop. For the other sets, the most valuable cards, Lugia and Moonbreon etc, have long set themselves apart from the rest. All of the other nice looking cards, like the Trainer Galleries, are so plentiful you can find them for under 3 bucks, and all that means is that anyone who wants them can have them and there will always be excess supply.
>>54346113I was using Vault X, but I got sick of it. The pages are cut so haphazardly and the plastic is sometimes cloudy. And I don't like that they can't really take double sleeves without too much pressure.
Recently I got an Ultimate Guard Quadrow Zipfolio, which I really like. It feels more consistent page to page, the pockets aren't straining on some cards, and my cards look better.
