Didn't work out for me. NPCs make (somehow) too much damage. Shield was activated one turn earlier. First Bitter Blade didn't drain enough, next turn it nearly killed me with Shadow Claw since setting up a shield removes burn before I could use Clear Smog again.

I'll go for Team Corviknight but I didn't find a 5* Corviknight today. Have to wait until tomorrow.

Lunge reduces attack, right? Would it even work? When NPCs were next to me, Decidueye's ability made Intimidate of Tauros fail. Which says to me you cannot lower its attack at all.

You ramp up Iron Defenses after it clears your buffs, by the moment you Tera into Fighting you will be at +6 Defeses which won't be cleared and will laugh at it attempting Brave Birds doing less than 50HP of damage to you. Body Presses with Shell Bell will keep you immortal afterwards, all of this of course assumes no surprise Critical Hit killing you or near killing you at any moment you are below 50% Max HP

i used the same support mew i used for the mewtwo raid with a couple moves changed, and with the right dps with you, it can work
taunt turn 1 and then again when the first taunt wears off and it wont get to set up, as long as reflect is up you'll get to shrug off whatever it throws at you
manage your health and if you can, throw a defense buff in there after it resets your stats, and once you're in a comfortable spot just spam leech life

Supportfagging sounds like it could be good for any sort of raid. I might try building a Mew or Jirachi to do just that. Jirachi in particular for Steel typing's sweet resists.

That’s always going to be an issue here
Corviknight worked better for me but this is the set I used to win on my first try.
Also repeated the same strat two more times with high success.
Reroll for Arboliva if you need to. I feel like having that extra Grassy Terrain heal ing is a key here.

I finally got it by adjusting the strategy a bit, mainly by replacing Swords Dance with Bulk Up to soften the damage from the non-crit attacks from Decidueye more since it can't be burned again when the shield is up.

T1 - Will-O-Wisp
T2 - Clear Smog
T3 - Bulk Up
Blade -> Clear Smog shield -> Tera Fire-Bulk Up -> Bulk Up(if health near-full otherwise at nearest opportunity), Blade spam.

Not sure how much difference Swords Dance vs Bulk Up would make for other people but the latter ended up working quite well for me anyway, I'd also experimented with Iron Defense and Attack Cheer which worked well for survival but couldn't KO it in time so Bulk Up it was. I did get Arboliva one time and the added healing was nice too.

That’s because it is. Most of the playerbase is going to build for damage, assuming they build at all. Going support is a good way to get stupid (yet effective) damage dealers across the finish line. I’ve used support Qwilfish in nearly every physical attacking raid, and even when it is far from optimal (like the current 7 star), it helps a semi-competent team out a lot.

I've been trying with Fire Iron Moth for a while now with no luck, trying to lower the defense at first but then he wipes the floor with me, tried lowering the attack next but then I don't have enough time when attempting it solo, and if I do it with randoms we've rarely even gotten to break the shield.

The thing neuters most physical attackers on turn one, and it gets access to other top-tier support moves like Taunt and Acid Spray. Acupressure is also situationally useful. I typically bring Black Sludge as item.

You lead with Taunt if needed, but usually, you nuke the opponent’s attack before deciding between Acid Spray and Acupressure for team support. Sometimes you just sit around and wait for the right time to cheer.

They have priority, for one, so you can rapidly bail out your teammates if you’re ready, assuming the raid isn’t locking your actions. The effects are apparently somewhat random (1.5x or 2x for the attack and defense cheers, 20-100% for hours). Attack and defense cheers stack with traditional stat boosts but not other cheers.

Also the boss cleanse doesn't reset cheer boosts unlike other buffs, but unfortunately they silently wear off after about 3-4 attacks from the whole party. They're still quite useful when used at the right time though (especially since they stack with normal buffs) and each player can use 3 cheers of any kind per battle.

I beat it solo with Ceruledge. Use Taunt first so Decidueye can't use Bulk Up turn 1, or Swords Dance when it shields up. Use Bitter Blade to chip away and heal, while building Tera charge. Once you died once, Tera to pure Fire and Swords Dance when you can, Bitter Blade when you need to heal. I used Swords Dance twice in the end.

Make sure you also Taunt on Turn 4 to cancel the Swords Dance
Also be mindful of a potential Defense drop on Turn 2 after Decidueye cancels Mirror Armor, so you may have to use Iron Defense 4 times and not 3.
Roost if you have to. Take advantage of Decidueye’s Grassy Terrain when you Tera so you have more healing.

Corviknight works basically without fail unless you get unlucky. Did it solo easily and a bunch of times online with randoms, basically only lose when the others die too much.
Also reminder that you can get an overworld Tera Corviknight with tera fighting, took me like half an hour to get it ready

Just use skeledirge. it cant kill you at all even with shadow claw crits. Just slack off damage, use leftovers and get grassy terrain heals and torch song tera fire to absolutely snowball out of control.

Was able to do it with a Corviknight that wasn't even fully EV trained. It's definitely a pick where you're hoping your allies don't die. Though two Ceruledge's did huge chunks of the dps while a third one acted as dead weight. Felt like my most useful contribution was taunt at the start to shut down the early bulk up and SD.

I'm okay with this. I got a shiny Rookidee and she's carried the raid for me with Roost, which otherwise would be impossible to learn.
There's nothing preventing you from making whichever mon you like the strongest it can be, which really fits like a glove in this franchise.

I'd genuinely like if they did something to make dealing with Legendaries less tedious, at the very least. I'm still too lazy to grab the Treasures of Ruin or the Loyal Three because I don't want to put up with Base 3 Catchrate RNG that hinges on whether or not I get lucky enough for a successful critical catch roll.

It’s genuinely a good change, especially when combined with herba combos making mark / shiny hunting bearable. I put up with egg moves in past games, but they were never a fun mechanic. The only baffling thing about the QoL upgrades in SV is that there’s nothing to really use them for outside of online play.

Teal Mask not having a facility (or any unique mark / ribbon) was disappointing. Then again, a facility without animation toggle is going to be a slog.
