The clefairy was a questionable pick
He got absolutely bodied by spore game 1 and didnt change his lead, didnt notice Clefairy was useless all along.

Open Team sheet doesn't include EVs, and it's a very common practice for Scarfed mons to skimp on Speed when they hit an important threshold (i.e. outspeed non-Booster Flutter by 1 point) and then invest the rest into something else. He probably expected the opposing Urshifu to be the same, thus expecting his Arcanine (who's also definitely not full on Speed) to outspeed under Tailwind, and got caught off guard

I mean, I can see a few reasons it exists. If someone isn't all that big on Pokemon as a franchise compared to it as a competitive game, they might get confused by the name and think it's some fuckery or that they misremembered what the Pokemon was, which can majorly effect their mental or the way they approach it (if you think this is stupid then you need to remember that a ton of VGCfags threw a shitfit at the prospect of being expected to play the games to have the Pokemon in them during this year's Worlds).
It may also cause confusion for the nonexistant kids watching if it ever happens.

I actually ran into this in my first tournament in 2013, someone had nicknamed their leads the opposite Pokemon. I figured it out but I can imagine someone who isn't paying attention or is new to the franchise could get tripped up.
