Honestly the worst part of PLASS was seeing ugly as fuck muttnova pokemon in it.. Even if it tried to redesign them and fix them, they're still ugly disgusting niggermutt James Turner abominations.

And yet designed worse than most of them. Like, there's some not great routes in BW, but none worse than Kalos Route 1.

That ruin things like the ice puzzle, holy shit it's like they didn't even playtest it

Shame most of them are Amie only, and interacting with Amie at all makes an already easy game even eaiser

I mean, it was in the previous few games, even Gen 5 had it in the Dream World when XY launched.

Really? Most of them are like mash A easy. Like, Battle Maison Triples are easier than most of the PWT, seriously.

Shame inverse battles are fucking wasted in XY. Man ORAS implemented them so much better.

I mean if you really want to use absolute shitmons, I guess. But if you want to use something reasonable it's about on par with some of the previous entries. Still better that whatever the fuck DP was trying to do, but I'd also say it's arguably worse than GS which is literally homework turned in at the last minute. I think something like RS, BW, or maybe Platinum are a good thing to aim for. Large Pokemon pools are occasionally nice though, as a treat. But I get it, there's hundreds of Pokemon now, they want to put as many in the game as possible, possibly for trademark reasons. I don't really blame you for liking it either, but it's not my taste. But I also really like the Game Cube titles, so whatever.

It's actually shocking how similar in design that is to Unova Route 1, but Unova Route 1 has an optional exit that is available later in the game with Surf, while Kalos Route 2 has an inaccessible river.

And directly comparing the third routes of both games here >>54779298 puts me in the mind that Unova wins out again (although admittedly it's not the comparison I would have made personally). That's Unova 3, Kalos 0, and 30% of BW's main story routes (and about 17% of the entirety of BW) are better than about 14% of Kalos' entire routes.
