They've sold pretty well for being so "hated". Personally I think they are a couple of the best pokemon games ever made. I don't have the weird zoomer personality where I try to find a reason to hate absolutely everything though. These kids will seriously tell you an entire game is bad because they saw a frameskip or there's a design they don't like.

the cross gens are pretty good, yeah Dudunsparce is joke, but Firgiaraf, the Ursalunas and Hisian Arcanine are sick I can admit but a lot of gen 8 and 9 pokemon are mediocre to the worst looking fucking things I've ever seen.

They should include Kitakami and Terapagos in the main game as a post game and simply make something different for the DLC, gen 9 is pretty solid and I honestly can forgive it a lot, enough for it to stay here until 2025
