>>54814024Thanks. Seems like I only posted the title screen and not the raw sprites. I would have posted the sprites in the same thread, but I didn't post them at all. January makes sense too as my ROM date is February. I'll need to start over with the sprite conversion. Some of the line work I redid for the battle sprites was a bit rough, so I may see if I can locate better ones that are already converted for pokered. Gardevoir on the title screen was originally an accident, but I know how to do that on purpose now. It's based on the starter you replace. Blue version Gardevoir would look shiny. The sprite and the cry is the hardest part. Everything else is really easy.
>>54814050Yup! Those are my posts. I forgot who's video I screengrabbed the sprite from, but my post history reminds me it was Gym Leader Matt's video that inspired me. So now I can redo the sprite process exactly like I did before. The battle sprites didn't come out as well as I would have liked, so I also may search around for some already 4 color grayscale sprites so I don't need to redo some linework like I did originally. The good news is it shouldn't take me that long. The majority of the 6 hours I mentioned was retooling pokered to deal with Mew's code better. I made sure to make a backup of that so I don't need to do that process again. This originally started as a small personal project, where it wasn't good enough to post, but it was "close enough" to play myself. If I end up finding sprites for the full evo line, I'll make a Ralts starter version alongside the Gardevoir only version. Even if the Ralts version doesn't happen, I'll share RBY with you guys as thanks.
>>54814116Good start. I do think it needs to be pitched up a little. Type, pitch and length are located in cries.asm which is the only cry file I currently know about. I need to learn where the other file is to paste the raw hexadecimal in. I hope I can do it so I can add the data you gave me. I saved it in a notepad file.
