>>54937866>Best region.Up there for sure. It's got a bit of a problem with having most pokemon caught/evolved in non-traditional ways, meaning the path of least resistance ends up with similar teams. I could give it to 4, though personally I have 3 and 5 above it.
>Best StartersInfernape unfortunately weighs the whole thing down design wise. Most generations have a clear loser, but none quite as bad as the gap between the great designs of Torterra and Empleon, and the... other design in Infernape.
>Best cross gen evolutionsNot really a competition there, no other generation really... did that as much as gen 4
>Best legendariesNah. Gen 3 has the epic down, Gen 1 has the mysterious down. Gen 4 has some pretty good designs out there (Arceus, Darkrai, Regigigas), but it has too many bad designs to call it the best (Lake Trio, Heatran, Dialga, Palkia, Shaymin-Sky)
>Best musicIf you count HGSS, then yes.
>Best storyNaw. The simplicity of Gen 1 and 2 work to it's advantage, and are the best in my mind. If for some reason you don't want simple, Gen 5 did a complex story better.
>Best charactersMost of them just don't really exist or do anything. If anything, this is Gen 4s weakest point.
>Best championProbably? Blue might give her a run for her money, but I think I'd give it to Cynthia.
>Best evil teamBasically the same as best story for the early gens. 1 and 2 did it better because it was lower key, and 5 did it better if you crave complexity for some reason.
>Best spinoffsIt had the PMD sequels, so it wins by default
>Best-selling remakeNo need to add "selling" there. It is the best remake.
Agree with 4 of your points, Disagree with 5, Indifferent to 2
