Why do chuds think they’re going to cut ways to get crossgen evos? Only FRLG and HGSS did that but the pokemon can still be traded over and used in game

OP literally just gave an example of a crossgen evo being unobtainable. There's also Stantler being unable to evolve into Wyrdeer in SV, and AFAIK Kleavor can only be caught or transferred, not evolved.

cross gen evos that came out after gen 4 were nothing but a mistake
not only do almost all of them have shit designs but gamefreak is being very anticonsumer about how you obtain them

you can still evolve those in HGSS, a lot are post game, but you can still obtain them
you can't evolve Stantler in SV at all

that's only four out of the 100 mons that are a waste. Togepi isn't really any different from any other first stage mon and Tyrogue is justified because you can breed it's Hithomchan/Hitmonlee/Hitmontop to get the other evos without trading
